Job summary

Yuanshan Electronics Phils in Makati seeks an experienced Accountant to organize and update financial records, ensure accurate accounting ledgers, and handle BIR and PEZA compliance. The role includes supervising junior staff, performing reconciliations, and providing regular updates to management while maintaining strict adherence to accounting legislation.

This position requires a Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field and proven experience in finance, with a strong eye for detail

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business administration, and another related field.
• Proven strong experience In Finance / Accounting department.

Responsibilities

• Organize and update financial records.
• Maintain and update accounting records and files.
• Taxation and BIR Compliance - preparation and filing of all BIR returns (e.g., VAT, EWT, Income Tax, 2316, 1601C, 2550M/Q)
• Ensure timely remittance and submission of BIR requirements and schedules.
• Handle tax audits and coordinate with BIR officers for compliance and documentary requests.
• PEZA Documentation and Compliance. Prepare and maintain PEZA-related documentation, including monthly and annual reports, import/export permits, and certifications.
• Coordinate with PEZA officers for audits, inspections, and renewals of certificates or permits.
• Identifying potential cash flow problems and financial irregularities.
• Performing reconciliations of general ledger account.
• Supervising and providing overall guidance to account clerk as well as junior accounting staff.
• Providing regular updates to management regarding company finances.
• Ensuring that the company maintains compliance with accounting legislation.
