COMRISE Japan in Taguig, Metro Manila, is seeking a Finance Specialist responsible for end-to-end financial reporting and accounting tasks including general ledger, invoicing, journal entries, reconciliations, month-end close, and intercompany billing.

The role requires CPA, 4+ years of accounting/financial reporting, and experience in or with Big Audit Firms. On-site 2-3x weekly; strong communication and stakeholder management are essential.

Qualifications

• Graduate of Accounting or related finance course.
• CPA certification required.
• Experience in Big Audit Firms (PWC, KPMG, Reyes Tacandong, Grant Thornton or similar) for at least 2 years.
• Minimum 4 years of end-to-end accounting and financial reporting experience.
• Proficiency in financial reporting, accounting processes, and data analytics.
• Background can be purely external audit or purely corporate (financial reporting/prepping).
• Insurance experience preferred but not required.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Willing to report on-site 2-3x a week.

Role overview:

The Finance Specialist will be responsible for end-to-end financial reporting and accounting activities, including: General ledger management, Invoice processing, Journal entry recording, Account reconciliations, Month-end closing activities, Financial statement preparation, Intercompany billing transactions, General controllership and accounting functions.

Qualifications:

• -Graduate of Accounting or any related finance courses.
• -Must be a CPA.
• -Experience working in any of 4 BIG AUDIT FIRMS (PWC, KPMG, Reyes Tacandong, Grant Thornton, or similar firms) for at least 2 years.
• -Minimum of 4 years of End-to-end accounting and financial reporting experience is required.
• -Proficiency in financial reporting, accounting processes, and data analytics
• -Background can be purely external audit or purely corporate (financial reporting/prepping)
• -Prefer insurance experience but not required.
• -Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• -Must be willing to report on-site 2-3x a week.
