Job summary

Comrise is seeking a Finance Specialist in Metro Manila to handle end-to-end financial reporting and accounting duties. The role covers general ledgers, journal entries, reconciliations, month-end closes, and intercompany billing, with a strong emphasis on controllership. CPA is required, with 4+ years of experience in accounting or audit, preferably from BIG FIRM backgrounds.

The Finance Specialist will be responsible for end-to-end financial reporting and accounting activities, including: General ledger management, Invoice processing, Journal entry recording, Account reconciliations, Month-end closing activities, Financial statement preparation, Intercompany billing transactions, General controllership and accounting functions.

Qualifications:

• -Graduate of Accounting or any related finance courses.
• -Must be a CPA.
• -Experience working in any of 4 BIG AUDIT FIRMS (PWC, KPMG, Reyes Tacandong, Grant Thornton, or similar firms) for at least 2 years.
• -Minimum of 4 years of End-to-end accounting and financial reporting experience is required.
• -Proficiency in financial reporting, accounting processes, and data analytics
• -Background can be purely external audit or purely corporate (financial reporting/prepping)
• -Prefer insurance experience but not required.
• -Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• -Must be willing to report on-site 1-3x a week.
