Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Monthly consolidation of Balance sheets, Stockholders' Equity and Cash Flows.
• Support in preparation of statutory reports and management reports.
• Assist Finance Manager with automation and digitalization initiatives.
• Ensure financial statements are accurate and align with BS, PL, SHE, and CF.
• Lead the semi-annual preparation of the Standard Report Format and respond to shareholders.
• Prepare accounting or technical memos.
• Coordinate with accounting on system issues and requirements.
• Handle ad hoc accounting/financial/admin tasks for subsidiaries as needed by Controller.

Job description

The Finance Specialist will support the Finance Manager in handling the entire financial reporting process of MPIC. He or she may collaborate with MPIC accounting department and with FR team of operating companies to ensure timely submission, consistency, and accuracy of reports. This person will lead the completion of the Standard Report Format required by FPC, MPIC's major shareholder. He or she may also perform bookkeeping and budgeting work for the subsidiaries.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Monthly consolidation of Balance sheets, Stockholders' Equity and Cash Flows
• Support in preparation of statutory reports and management reports
• Assist the Finance Manager in completing the requirements of the impending automation and digitalization of the Company processes
• Assist the Finance Manager in ensuring the financial statements are accurate and movements across BS, PL, SHE and CF tie up
• Lead the preparation of the Standard Report Format semi-annually and address shareholder inquiries
• Assist in preparing accounting or technical memos
• Assist or coordinate with accounting on system issues and requirements
• Assist the team in handling ad hoc accounting / financial / admin requirements of subsidiaries as may be required by the Controller (e.g. bookkeeping, documentation of processes, monitoring of actual spend vs budget)

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy and CPA graduate
• Experience in PFRS 3, IFRIC 12, well versed in Accounting Standards
• Audit experience of 2 years or more
• Accustomed to tight deadlines
