Job summary

Job Description & Summary

At PwC, our finance professionals provide financial advice and strategic guidance to clients, helping them optimise performance and make informed decisions. They handle financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and risk management.

About the Role
  • Preparation of monthly management reports as per Singapore Reporting Standards, including Balance Sheet, Income Statement, Notes to Financial Statements, etc.
  • Preparation and analysis of financial reports for partners and managers, covering trade debtors’ reports, WIP reports, and cost analysis for operating statements, etc.
  • Coordinate and liaise with auditors for year-end audit, collating documents and providing necessary equipment and access passes throughout the audit period.
  • Coordinate with the Tax Team on corporate, GST, and commercial tax submissions quarterly, half-yearly and yearly; respond to tax queries from agents or authorities.
  • Provide accurate information and review reports prepared by the Transfer Pricing Team.
  • Prepare XBRL filings in accordance with local Singapore regulation.
  • Initiate and liaise with Corporate Secretary for board resolutions and fulfilment of statutory requirements.
  • Apply for Certificate of Residence for the company under the withholding-tax treaty between Singapore and other countries.
  • Manage financing matters, including arranging drawdowns and renewals of bank loans, advising the Finance Head on prevailing interest rates, and acting as the key contact with local banks.
  • Assist with engagement team requests to ACRA, IRAS or other government bodies for required submissions.
  • Prepare mid-month and monthly payment schedules and liaise with the engagement team on payment status.
  • Assist in preparing reporting packages such as the half-year disclosure template and ASEANZ tax-pack reporting, etc.
  • Assist in special audits, namely Agreed-Upon Procedures required by the Indonesia Transfer Pricing team for HQ cost allocations, including liaison with SG auditors and handling audit field work and document sightings.
  • Assist with other financial projects or ad-hoc duties as assigned.
About You
  • Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of relevant work experience.
  • Good working knowledge of local accounting requirements and Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (FRSs).
  • Knowledge of Singapore tax rules and regulations (GST, withholding tax) required.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills across territories and personnel levels.
  • Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel, using pivot tables, HLOOKUP, VLOOKUP, and automation of reports.
  • Strong multitasking ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Financial analysis skills a plus.
  • Energetic, self-motivated, able to work independently and achieve assigned goals within deadlines.
  • Willing to work in Makati City in a hybrid setup.
