Job summary

Metro Pacific Investments Corporation is seeking a Finance Specialist to support the Finance Manager in handling the entire financial reporting process, ensure timely and accurate submissions, and collaborate across MPIC's accounting and FR teams. The role may also involve bookkeeping and budgeting for subsidiaries.

The position emphasizes consolidation, statutory and management reporting, and involvement in automation initiatives to streamline company processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy and CPA.
• Experience with PFRS 3 and IFRIC 12; strong knowledge of accounting standards.
• 2+ years of audit experience.
• Excellent deadline management and meticulous attention to detail.
• Passionate, positive mindset and takes initiative.
• Flexible to take on additional tasks as needed.
• Demonstrated ability to adapt to changing requirements.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Monthly consolidation of Balance sheets, Stockholders' Equity and Cash Flows.
• Support in preparation of statutory reports and management reports.
• Assist Finance Manager with automation and digitalization initiatives.
• Ensure financial statements are accurate and align with BS, PL, SHE, and CF.
• Lead the semi-annual preparation of the Standard Report Format and respond to shareholders.
• Prepare accounting or technical memos.
• Coordinate with accounting on system issues and requirements.
• Handle ad hoc accounting/financial/admin tasks for subsidiaries as needed by Controller.
