Job summary

Hammerjack Pty Ltd is seeking a data analytics professional to lead reporting automation and operational insights within Finance Shared Services. You will build dashboards, streamline processes, and deliver data-driven recommendations to improve performance.

In this role, you will automate reporting using Excel, Power Query, Macros/VBA, and Power BI, consolidate data from multiple sources, and provide executive summaries for governance meetings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance & Accounting, Data Analytics, or related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in reporting, data analysis, operations analytics, or similar role.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Power Query, Pivot Tables, Macros/VBA) with dashboard/report development in Power BI.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Review manual reporting and identify opportunities to automate and streamline processes.
• Develop and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly reports and dashboards on productivity, backlog, SLA, aging, and workload.
• Automate reports using Excel, Power Query, Macros/VBA, and Power BI to improve efficiency.
• Consolidate data from multiple sources ensuring accuracy and reliability.
• Provide data-driven insights to inform operational performance.
• Analyze performance trends and identify drivers impacting productivity and SLA.
• Prepare executive summaries and governance report packs.
• Support ad hoc analysis and business improvement initiatives.
