First Standard Finance Corporation is seeking an experienced Assistant Accounting Manager or Assistant Finance Manager to oversee accounting functions at the corporate office. Responsibilities include preparing and submitting financial reports, ensuring compliance, and analyzing data to advise on financial improvements.

The role requires a CPA, a Bachelor’s in a related field, and strong English communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business studies, administration, management, Commerce, Economics, Finance, Accountancy, Banking or related field
• Excellent English communication skills, both oral and written
• Proficient in Windows-based applications, including Outlook, Word and Excel
• Action oriented with ability to follow up on feedback

Responsibilities

• Submit Financial Reports to Finance Manager
• Analyze and check Financial Reports to ensure accuracy
• Ensure compliance with Financial Reports as required by the Finance Manager and timely submission
• Analyze Financial Reports and submit recommendations for improvement of financial conditions
• Prepare Corporate office Financial Planning to be submitted to Finance Manager every year
• Submit Financial Data as may be required by top management or Finance Manager
• Oversee Cash Count and Bank Reconciliation to ensure cash and cash equivalents are intact
• Ensure Billing Statements are timely prepared, billed and collected
• Assist Finance Manager in compliance with Bank requirements
• Handle corporate office funding and consolidation of fund requirements and excess to be reported to Finance Manager
