Job summary

Straits Developments Pte Ltd is seeking an experienced Assistant Manager/Manager to oversee financial reporting, budgeting, and finance operations across the Group. You will ensure accurate and timely reporting, strong controls, and regulatory compliance in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires hands-on finance leadership with deep technical accounting skills, coordination with auditors, tax advisors, and business units, and a proactive approach to process improvement.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting or Finance with professional qualification preferred (CA/CPA/ACCA).
• 8–10+ years of relevant accounting/finance experience.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards and statutory requirements.
• Experience managing external audits and audit queries.
• Familiarity with XBRL filings and tax compliance.

Responsibilities

• Support budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting processes.
• Prepare monthly journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Assist in month-end close and consolidation activities.
• Prepare audited financial statements and schedules for statutory reporting.
• Coordinate external audits, respond to auditor inquiries, and manage audit schedules.
• Assist with GST, corporate tax filings, and regulatory submissions.
