Job summary

TRANSNATIONAL DIVERSIFIED GROUP, INC. is seeking an Accounting Assistant Manager to support member companies in general accounting, budgeting, financial reporting and analysis.

This role ensures timely and accurate financial information in line with GAAP, corporate policies and external audits. You will oversee monthly, quarterly and annual close processes, review journal entries and reconciliations, develop policies and controls, mentor accounting staff, and coordinate with Internal Audit, Tax

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is required.
• CPA license is required.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance.
• At least 2 years of experience in the automotive industry is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP.
• Proven leadership, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in financial systems and reporting tools is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Oversee monthly, quarterly and annual accounting processes.
• Review journal entries, reconciliations and financial reports for general ledger accuracy.
• Ensure proper classification and booking of transactions.
• Assist in the preparation of management and statutory reports.
• Develop and implement accounting policies, procedures and internal controls.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and government/statutory requirements.
• Collaborate with Internal Audit, Tax and Finance teams for regulatory reporting.
• Lead and mentor accounting staff and conduct performance reviews.
• Coordinate with various departments to present financial information to stakeholders.
