Job description

The Senior Executive for Corporate Reporting & Compliance is responsible for the timely preparation, analysis, and submission of the monthly Executive Deck Financial Report. The role also supports strategic initiatives by providing accurate and timely financial analyses, ad hoc reports, and compliance-related requirements, ensuring alignment with corporate standards and strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

Corporate Reporting
  • Prepare and consolidate the monthly Executive Deck Financial Report for submission to Zuspresso (M) Sdn Bhd, highlighting key financial metrics, variances, and insights.
  • Consolidate data across business units to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and consistency of financial reports.
  • Ensure reports are clear, insightful, and aligned with the needs of senior management and the strategy team.
Compliance and Governance
  • Support corporate compliance by ensuring adherence to internal financial policies, reporting standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with internal and external auditors in providing required schedules, reconciliations, and supporting documents.
  • Maintain proper documentation of reporting processes and ensure compliance with internal control requirements.
Ad Hoc & Strategic Support
  • Prepare financial and operational reports as requested by the strategy team and senior management.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (Accounting, FP&A, Operations) to gather relevant data and explanations for reporting.
  • Monitor and implement compliance with corporate reporting requirements and support external/internal audit processes.
  • Support management in decision-making by providing meaningful financial analysis and recommendations.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to streamline reporting processes and strengthen compliance practices..
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
  • At least 3–5 years of relevant experience in corporate reporting, financial analysis, or compliance.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and handle multiple reporting requirements.
  • Proven experience working with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, NetSuite, Oracle, or similar) is an advantage.
  • Experience with Food and Beverage (F&B) or Retail industry is a plus.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting
  • Analytical mindset with ability to interpret financial data into actionable insights.
  • Collaboration and stakeholder management skills, particularly in dealing with senior executives and cross-functional teams.
  • Proactiveness and adaptability in handling ad hoc requests and evolving business needs.
