Job summary

Surbana Jurong is seeking an experienced Finance/Accounting Lead in our Manila operations to support budgeting, forecasting and financial health of G&T SEAP projects. You will monitor performance against targets and drive timely reports across sub-sectors.

The role requires 5–7 years in Finance/Accounting, strong English reporting skills, and ERP experience. Expect a collaborative, multi-cultural environment with focus on compliance and process excellence.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification - Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Management or similar field from an accredited university/college with at least 5–7 years solid working experience in Finance/Accounting.
• Ability to write effectively in English to furnish reports and proposals.
• Experience in a Shared Services or BPO environment is an advantage.
• Experience with ERP or financial reporting software is a plus.
• Strong Finance and Accounting skills including AR, AP, Cash, and Reconciliation.
• Leadership potential and ability to work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the preparation of the G&T, Pacific annual budgets, and quarterly forecast.
• Monitor actuals vs target and contribute to the sub-sector meeting its monthly and annual targets.
• Assist with preparation of annual, monthly operations and bi-weekly status reports for the sub-sector.
• Manage the G&T SEAP Projects accountants and ensure that the team’s tasks, deliverables, and targets are met.
• Adhere to SMEC’s BMS, QMS and OH&S procedures.
• Ensure corporate reviews, approvals, and compliance requirements are met.
