Job summary

TigerUX is seeking a seasoned Chief Financial Officer or Finance Director to lead the organization's financial operations in the Philippines. The role requires strategic budgeting, forecasting, and robust financial planning to drive business decisions and profitability.

Candidate must supervise finance staff, ensure strong internal controls, and coordinate with auditors while ensuring regulatory compliance and timely tax filings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
• CPA license is required.
• Minimum of 5 years of finance experience, including at least 2 years in a managerial role.
• Strong budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis skills with data-driven recommendations.
• Proficiency in financial reporting and analysis (income statements, balance sheets, cash flow, variance analysis).
• Experience with general ledger, payables/receivables, reconciliations, and month-end closing.
• Knowledge of financial regulations, tax compliance, and audit procedures in retail/consumer goods.
• Advanced skills in Excel and ERP tools, with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the overall financial operations of the organization.
• Manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning to support business decisions.
• Monitor cash flow and ensure effective cash management.
• Prepare and review monthly and annual financial statements and reports.
• Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and financial transactions.
• Ensure timely and accurate reconciliation of ledgers, bank accounts, and financial records.
• Analyze expenses, financial performance, and profit margins to identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with applicable financial regulations, accounting standards, and company policies.
• Coordinate with external auditors and support tax filings and other statutory requirements.
• Partner with operations and leadership teams to align financial plans with business goals.
• Lead, supervise, and mentor finance staff to ensure strong team performance.
• Maintain effective internal controls and identify opportunities for process improvements.
• Provide financial insights and recommendations to management to support strategic planning and profitability.
