Job summary

Global company in Alabang is seeking a hands-on Manager to own the local office’s finance and accounting activities. You will work with the Managing Director and a lean team to keep records accurate, ensure compliance, and support strategic decision making.

The ideal candidate has a Philippine CPA qualification, 5+ years of accounting experience, strong Excel skills, and familiarity with SAP Business One. This is a fully onsite role in Alabang.

Qualifications

• A degree in Accountancy and a Philippine CPA qualification—mandatory.
• At least five years of relevant accounting and finance experience, including hands-on responsibility for a full set of accounts.
• Solid knowledge of Philippine taxation, financial reporting, and statutory compliance.
• Strong Excel skills and experience with an accounting or ERP system. SAP Business One experience is an advantage.
• Someone organised, dependable, and comfortable working independently, meeting deadlines, and explaining financial information clearly.
• Availability to work fully onsite in Alabang every workday.

Responsibilities

• Handle the full accounting cycle, including payables, receivables, general ledger, bank reconciliations, inventory, fixed assets, and month-end closing.
• Manage Philippine tax and statutory requirements, maintain complete documentation, and coordinate with external auditors and advisers.
• Monitor collections, payments, and cash requirements to help the business plan ahead.
• Prepare budgets, forecasts, and management reports. Explain movements in costs and margins, and highlight matters requiring attention.
• Maintain reliable financial records, strengthen approval processes, and introduce practical improvements.
• Work with sales, operations, and service colleagues to resolve finance matters and support payroll coordination.
