Job Summary

We are seeking a strategic and highly analytical Finance Manager to oversee our firm’s internal financial health and provide high-level advisory to our key clients. You will lead the finance team in ensuring that the firm remains profitable, compliant with Philippine tax laws, and efficient in its cash flow management.

Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Financial Planning: Lead the annual budgeting and forecasting process for the firm. Provide variance analysis to the Partners to guide business expansion.
• Cash Flow & Treasury: Manage the firm’s liquidity, ensuring timely collections from clients and optimized payments to vendors and employees.
• Financial Reporting: Oversee the preparation of Monthly, Quarterly, and Annual Financial Statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) in accordance with PFRS/IFRS.
• Tax Leadership: Ensure 100% compliance with BIR requirements (EFPS filing, VAT, Withholding Tax, and Income Tax). Lead the team during BIR audits or assessments.
• Client Advisory: Occasionally act as a "Fractional CFO" for the firm’s premium clients, providing insights on financial restructuring and cost-cutting.
• Team Management: Mentor and supervise a team of Senior Accountants and Billing Specialists. Conduct performance reviews and technical training.
• Process Automation: Evaluate and implement upgrades to accounting software (e.g., NetSuite, Xero, or SAP) to improve firm-wide efficiency.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy.
• Certification: Certified Public Accountant (CPA) is mandatory. An MBA or CMA is a significant advantage.
• Experience: Minimum 5 years in accounting/finance, with experience specifically in an Accounting or Auditing Firm (Big 4 experience is a plus).
• Technical Skills: Expertise in Philippine Tax Laws (TRAIN Law, CREATE Law).
• Advanced proficiency in Cloud Accounting software (Xero/QuickBooks).
• High-level Excel modeling (Financial projections and valuations).
• Soft Skills: Strong leadership, executive presence, and the ability to explain complex financial data to non-finance stakeholders.
