• Candidate must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy or Finance and CPA is highly preferred.
• Minimum 5 to 10+ years in accounting/finance with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
• Experience in health insurance industry is a plus but not required.
• Strong technical skills in financial reporting software and Excel; knowledge of PFRS/GAAP.

Core Responsibilities

• Financial Reporting: Oversee the preparation of accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Budgeting & Forecasting: Lead annual budget planning, track actual performance against budgets, and forecast future results.
• Treasury & Cash Management: Manage company cash flow, working capital, and bank relationships.
• Compliance & Auditing: Ensure strict compliance with tax laws, local regulations (such as the BIR and SEC in the Philippines), and accounting standards.
• Internal Controls: Develop policies to safeguard company assets, prevent fraud, and minimize financial risks.
• Team Leadership: Supervise, mentor, and train the accounting and finance team to maintain high performance.

Key Qualifications

• Education: Bachelors Degree in Accountancy or Finance.
• Certification: A Certified Public Accountant (CPA) title is highly preferred or often required.
• Experience: 5 to 10+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience, including at least 3 years in a managerial role.
• Experienced working in Health Insurance Company is a plus but not required.
• Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in financial reporting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, ERP systems) and Microsoft Excel.
