Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Finance, Management Accounting, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in finance and accounting, preferably in hotel, resort, or hospitality.
• Experience in hotel financial operations, revenue control, cost control, budgeting, and financial reporting is highly preferred.
• Experience with Netsuite or Oracle is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day financial and accounting operations of the hotel.
• Ensure accurate and timely preparation of monthly financial statements, management reports, and other financial reports.
• Analyze hotel financial performance, identify variances and trends, and provide actionable recommendations to management.
• Monitor revenue, expenses, profitability, cash flow, and other key financial indicators.
• Lead the preparation of the hotel’s annual budget with General Manager and department heads.
• Monitor actual performance against budgets and targets.
• Oversee cash management and daily cash handling processes.
• Ensure timely reconciliation of cash, bank, credit card, and other payment transactions.
• Establish and maintain effective financial and operational controls.
• Oversee controls related to purchasing, receiving, storage, and issuance of hotel supplies and inventory.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Finance, Management Accounting, or a related field.

• At least 5 years of relevant experience in finance and accounting, preferably within the hotel, resort, or hospitality industry.

• Experience in hotel financial operations, revenue control, cost control, budgeting, and financial reporting is highly preferred.

• Experience working with hotel accounting systems and property management systems, especially Netsuite and Oracle, is an advantage.

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, budgeting, and internal controls.

• Strong understanding of hotel finance and operational processes.

• Excellent analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.

• Strong business acumen and ability to translate financial data into operational insights.
