Michael Page is seeking a Finance Manager for a fast-growing fintech lending business expanding across Southeast Asia. You will lead daily accounting operations, revenue recognition, provisions, and general ledger reconciliation in line with IFRS and Philippine standards.

We require a CPA/ACCA (or equivalent) with at least 5 years of finance leadership experience in consumer finance or fintech, plus 3 years in Southeast Asia.

Formación

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• CPA, ACCA, or equivalent professional certification preferred.
• Minimum 5 years' finance management experience within consumer finance or fintech lending.
• At least 3 years' experience managing finance operations in Southeast Asia.
• Strong understanding of Philippine tax regulations, SEC requirements, and BIR compliance.

Responsabilidades

• Lead daily accounting operations, revenue recognition, provisions, and GL reconciliation per IFRS and Philippine standards.
• Manage statutory reporting and SEC compliance requirements.
• Lead external and internal audit activities as the finance liaison.
• Ensure accurate tax computation, filing, and remittance for CIT, VAT, and EWT.
• Maintain relationships with BIR, regulators, banks, and financial institutions.
• Support new lending product launches by evaluating accounting treatments and tax implications.
• Design and enhance internal controls, payment processes, and cash management frameworks.

Job Description

As the Finance Manager, you will:

• Lead daily accounting operations, revenue recognition, provisions, and general ledger reconciliation in accordance with IFRS and Philippine accounting standards.
• Manage statutory reporting and SEC compliance requirements.
• Lead external and internal audit activities as the primary finance liaison.
• Ensure accurate tax computation, filing, and remittance covering CIT, VAT, and EWT.
• Maintain relationships with BIR, regulators, commercial banks, and financial institutions.
• Support new lending product launches by evaluating accounting treatments and tax implications.
• Design and enhance internal controls, payment processes, and cash management frameworks.

The Successful Applicant

A Successful Finance Manager Should Have

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• CPA, ACCA, or equivalent professional certification preferred.
• Minimum 5 years' finance management experience within consumer finance or fintech lending.
• At least 3 years' experience managing finance operations in Southeast Asia.
• Strong understanding of Philippine tax regulations, SEC requirements, and BIR compliance.
• Advanced Excel and accounting systems expertise.
• Professional English communication skills; Mandarin is advantageous.
