Job summary

Tigerux Agile Innovation in Cebu City, Philippines seeks a Finance Leader to oversee treasury, reporting, planning and controls. You will manage cash flow, bank relationships, and ensure compliance while leading the finance team and coordinating with partners across finance and operations.

The role requires 5–7+ years in finance, strong analytical skills, and advanced Excel; the position offers regular business hours and on-site work in Cebu City with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
• 5-7+ years of strong experience in Finance, Treasury, Accounting, or related financial management functions.
• Strong knowledge of treasury operations, financial management, and accounting principles.
• Experience in managing banking relationships and familiarity with banking covenants.
• Strong understanding of financial controls, compliance requirements, and financial reporting.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to monitor business developments, financial markets, and economic factors.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to establish relationships with stakeholders.
• Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting, financial management, and presentation software.

• Treasury & Cash Flow Management: Oversee daily/long-term cash flow, liquidity positioning, bank relationships, payment processes, and financial risk mitigation.
• Financial Reporting & Closing: Lead month-end/year-end closing, record cash/intercompany movements, reconcile ledgers, and uphold accounting standards.
• Financial Planning & Strategy: Formulate financial strategies, analyze capital structure and budgeting, monitor market trends, and drive process optimization.
• Internal Controls & Compliance: Implement robust internal controls, ensure regulatory compliance and banking covenants, support audits.
• Leadership & Stakeholder Management: Direct and mentor the Finance team, foster cross-department collaboration, manage external partnerships.

• Financial Reporting & Closing: Lead month-end/year-end closing, ensure accurate recording of cash/intercompany movements, reconcile general ledgers, and uphold accounting standards.
• Financial Planning & Strategy: Formulate financial strategies, conduct analysis on capital structure and budgeting, monitor market trends, and drive process optimization.
• Internal Controls & Compliance: Implement robust internal controls, ensure compliance with regulatory standards and banking covenants, and support internal/external audit activities.
• Leadership & Stakeholder Management: Direct and mentor the Finance team, foster inter-departmental collaboration, and manage key external partnerships (banks, auditors, business partners).

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
• At least 5-7 years of strong experience in Finance, Treasury, Accounting, or related financial management functions, with substantial experience in cash flow, liquidity management, financial analysis, budgeting, and financial controls.
• Strong knowledge of treasury operations, financial management, and accounting principles.
• Experience in managing banking relationships and familiarity with banking covenants.
• Strong understanding of financial controls, compliance requirements, and financial reporting.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a high level of attention to detail.
• Ability to monitor business developments, financial markets, and economic factors that may affect the company.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced and high‑pressure environment.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with various internal and external stakeholders.
• Strong coordination and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with multiple teams and stakeholders.
• Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting, financial management, and presentation software.
• Willing to be based in Cebu City, with flexibility to travel to Manila for business meetings and official engagements.

Work Schedule/Set-up:

• Monday to Friday: 8 AM to 5 PM
