Job summary

Hammerjack Pty Ltd is seeking a Finance Intern to join its Corporate Service Department in Taguig. You will support treasury, foreign exchange monitoring, investment accounts, and insurance and bond tracking across projects and stores, gaining hands-on experience.

You will work with Microsoft Dynamics AX, Google Workspace, and Slack, learning specialized corporate finance processes in a dynamic team environment. Onsite role with paid internship and parking.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Financial Management, Business Administration, Economics or related field.
• Basic understanding of finance, treasury, or foreign exchange concepts.
• Proficient in Google Workspace, particularly Sheets, Docs and Drive.
• Comfortable using collaboration tools such as Slack.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Highly organized and able to manage financial and administrative records.

Responsibilities

• Assist in matching supporting documents for foreign currency and investment account reconciliations.
• Support foreign exchange purchase tracking and monitoring of related documentation.
• Scan, upload, and organize supporting documents in Google Drive.
• Assist in maintaining accurate records for treasury-related activities.
• Organize, index, and track bond and insurance documents for store and project needs.
• Maintain records for property, service maintenance, and insurance policies.
• Perform minor data entry in Microsoft Dynamics AX.
• Collaborate with team using Slack and Google Workspace for daily tasks.
• Assist with other finance-related tasks, special projects, and ad-hoc duties.

About the Role

As a Finance Intern, you will be part of the Corporate ServiceDepartment, providing operational and administrative support for treasury and corporate finance activities. You will gain hands‑on experience in foreign exchange monitoring, investment account management, financial documentation, and insurance and bond tracking across projects and store locations.

Key Responsibilities

Treasury & Foreign Exchange Support

• Assist in matching supporting documents for foreign currency and investment account reconciliations


• Support foreign exchange purchase tracking and monitoring of related documentation


• Scan, upload, and organize supporting documents in Google Drive


• Assist in maintaining accurate records for treasury-related activities

Bond & Insurance Documentation

• Organize, index, and track performance and project bond documents for store and project requirements


• Maintain records and tracking sheets for property, service maintenance, and demolition insurance policies


• Ensure financial and legal documents are properly organized, updated, and accessible

Finance Operations & Administrative Support

• Perform minor data entry and record updates in Microsoft Dynamics AX


• Collaborate with team members using Slack and Google Workspace for daily administrative tasks and file management


• Assist with other finance-related tasks, special projects, and ad-hoc duties as assigned

QualificationsMust-Have

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Financial Management, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field


• Basic understanding of finance, treasury, or foreign exchange concepts


• Proficient in Google Workspace, particularly Google Sheets, Docs, and Drive


• Comfortable using collaboration tools such as Slack


• Strong attention to detail and accuracy


• Highly organized and able to manage financial and administrative records responsibly


• Willing to learn specialized corporate finance processes

Nice-to-Have (Optional but Recommended)

• Familiarity with ERP systems, particularly Microsoft Dynamics AX


• Basic knowledge of treasury operations, foreign exchange, investments, bonds, or insurance documentation


• Experience handling data entry, financial documentation, or administrative tasks through school or internship experience
