Job summary

Responsibilities

• Oversee and supervise billing activities, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements
• Monitor and improve collection processes through effective coordination with internal and external stakeholders

• Review and validate APVs, LOAs, and other financial transactions for accuracy and completeness
• Support internal and external audit activities and ensure timely submission of required financial documents

SMC Integrated Merchandising Services Inc. (SMCIMSI) is the dedicated merchandising arm of San Miguel Corporation (SMC). A wholly owned subsidiary established in March 2019, SMCIMSI provides expert merchandising services across the San Miguel Group. Beyond ensuring product availability anytime, anywhere, our merchandisers serve as brand ambassadors, representing the products they carry with excellence.

With a workforce of over 8,000 merchandisers deployed across major supermarket chains, modern trade, and general trade accounts nationwide, SMCIMSI plays a crucial role in supporting SMC’s diverse business units.

Since 2019, we have managed the merchandising requirements of San Miguel Foods (Protein & Animal Nutrition Business and Prepared & Packaged Foods). In September 2022, we expanded our operations to handle Ginebra San Miguel Inc.'s merchandising in the Visayas region. Plans are underway to extend our coverage to San Miguel Brewery, SMYPC Wine Brothers, and additional areas for Ginebra San Miguel Inc.

Role Overview

The Finance Head is responsible for leading and overseeing the organization's finance and accounting functions, ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and compliance of all financial operations. The role manages billing, collections, revenue recognition, accounts payable verification, financial reporting, and audit support while driving financial controls and process improvements. Working closely with management and cross-functional teams, the Finance Head provides strategic financial insights, strengthens operational efficiency, ensures regulatory compliance, and supports the achievement of business objectives. This position requires strong leadership, analytical expertise, sound financial judgment, and proficiency in financial systems such as SAP.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy
• Must be a Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
• Minimum of 5 years of supervisory experience in Finance, Accounting, or related fields
• Experience in SAP and financial management systems
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
