Job summary

Altas Industrial Companias Amicales E nterprises Inc. in the Philippines seeks a senior finance professional to oversee day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable, inventory, revenue, general accounting, and billing and collections, ensuring tight internal controls.

You will prepare comprehensive financial reports, budgets, forecasts, and statutory statements in line with PFRS, liaise with external stakeholders, and drive process improvements and automation of portal reporting.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and present financial performance reports in accordance with Group directives and internal governance.
• Ensure adherence to Philippine Financial Reporting Standards (PFRS).
• Develop and manage accurate financial forecasts, budgets, and statutory financial statements.
• Act as liaison with external stakeholders including financial institutions, regulators, auditors, and service providers.
• Oversee all financial reporting and filings for statutory compliance with SEC, BIR, BOC, DENR and LGUs.
• Establish and enforce robust internal controls and enterprise-wide risk management.
• Lead initiatives to improve financial performance, including working capital and cash flow improvements.
• Drive portal/automation improvements to reporting cycles and efficiency.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Job description

Oversee day-to-day financial operations including Accounts Payable, inventory, revenue, general accounting, and billing and collections ensuring seamless integration of finance functions with operational processes while maintaining strict compliance with company policies and internal control procedures

Prepare and present comprehensive financial performance reports in accordance with Group directives and internal corporate governance and ensuring strict adherence to Philippine Financial Reporting Standards (PFRS).

Develop and manage accurate, timely financial forecasts, annual budgets, and statutory financial statements to support strategic decision-making.

Serve as the primary liaison and point of contact for external stakeholders, including financial institutions, regulatory authorities, external auditors, and third-party accounting service provider

Oversee all financial reporting and filings to ensure full statutory compliance, proactively managing the requirements of the SEC, BIR, BOC, DENR, and all applicable Local Government Units.

Establish, maintain, and enforce robust internal controls, evolving the department’s oversight from a narrow focus on financial risk to a broader, proactive approach to enterprise-wide business risk management.

Support/drive initiatives to improve financial performance for the company including margin expansion, cost reductions, working capital and cash flow improvements.

Drive the continuous optimization of Portal functionalities to automate manual processes, improve reporting cycle times, and maximize operational efficiency

Perform other related duties assigned by the supervisor or management.
