Job summary

Smartsourcing is hiring a Finance Generalist to own the transactional finance cycle, including sales journal, AP/AR, and reconciliations, on-site in Cebu City. You will document workflows and establish best practices as the offshore function develops.

Ideal candidates have 1–5 years in accounting, strong Excel skills, and familiarity with BAS and statutory requirements. This role offers growth within a growing onshore team and a dynamic workplace.

Qualifications

• 1-5 years of experience in an accounting role covering transactional finance.
• Experience supporting a small business is highly desirable.
• Proficient with MS Excel; Xero experience is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily sales journal process and balance sheet accounts.
• Reconcile bank accounts and credit cards; maintain fixed assets register.
• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable; assist BAS and statutory returns.
• Coordinate with onshore finance team, suppliers, and customers on invoicing and payments.
• Identify process improvements and document finance workflows.
