Job summary

LCC Group of Companies is seeking a Finance Controllership Officer in the Philippines to ensure accuracy and integrity of financial records across store operations. You will oversee reporting, budgeting, inventory accounting, and internal controls to support business decisions.

In this role you will coordinate with operations, merchandising, and warehouse teams, supervise the finance staff, and drive cost control and profitability through robust financial analysis and timely statutory filings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Accounting Technology, Finance, or a related field.
• CPA is preferred.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience in finance, accounting, or controllership, preferably in the retail industry.
• Experience in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and internal controls.
• Strong understanding of inventory accounting and retail financial operations.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and ERP or accounting systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, NetSuite, or similar).

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Ensure accurate recording of all financial transactions in accordance with accounting standards.
• Monitor daily sales, cash collections, and bank reconciliations.
• Oversee inventory accounting, stock adjustments, and shrinkage analysis.
• Conduct financial analysis and provide recommendations to improve profitability.
• Prepare budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis reports.
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations, government reporting requirements, and internal controls.
• Coordinate internal and external audits and implement audit recommendations.
• Monitor operating expenses and identify opportunities for cost savings.
• Review and strengthen financial processes and internal control procedures.
• Collaborate with operations, merchandising, warehouse, and other departments to improve financial performance.
• Supervise and develop the finance and accounting team, when applicable.
