Job summary

MEDMARK TRAVEL Inc. is looking for an experienced Finance & Accounting Officer to manage payroll, statutory compliance, and financial reporting. The role requires robust knowledge of Philippine accounting standards, tax rules, and government remittances.

The ideal candidate will have 6+ years in accounting, payroll, and compliance, with CPA or TESDA NC III being an advantage, and the ability to work independently while maintaining strict confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance or related field required.
• At least 6 years of hands-on experience in Philippine accounting, payroll, and statutory compliance.
• Experience in payroll processing, including salary computation, deductions, benefits, and 13th-month pay.
• Experience with SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG contributions, registrations, remittances, and reporting.
• Experience with BIR tax compliance, filings, withholding taxes, and related reports.
• Proven ability to monitor deadlines and ensure timely filings/payments of statutory obligations.
• Knowledge of SEC, DOLE, permits, licenses, renewals, and corporate compliance.
• CPA or TESDA NC III license is an advantage.
• Experience maintaining accurate records and supporting documentation.

Responsibilities

• Process payroll and ensure accurate deductions and benefits.
• Prepare and monitor SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG contributions.
• Ensure timely BIR tax filings and compliance.
• Maintain audit trail and confidentiality of financial data.
• Prepare weekly and monthly financial reports for management.
• Coordinate with external CPAs, auditors, and tax advisers.
• Reconcile bank statements, invoices, and accounts payable/receivable.
