Job summary

J-Gyu Corp is seeking a highly organized Finance and Compliance Officer to oversee daily financial operations, payroll, AR/AP, and compliance with government regulations including permits and employee benefits via a 3rd party agency.

The role requires 3–5 years in a finance or accounting manager position, strong Excel and accounting software skills, and knowledge of local regulations. CPA preferred. On-site role in the Philippines with a collaborative finance team.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years in a finance or accounting managerial role.
• Strong knowledge of local financial regulations and labor laws.
• Proficient in Excel and financial software.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and submit monthly financial management reports.
• Prepare monthly Budget vs. Actual reports in coordination with Finance Consultant.
• Maintain cash-flow monitoring and short-term cash forecasts.
• Review unusual expenses, variances and financial discrepancies.
• Ensure financial records reconcile with operational records.
• Manage Accounts Receivable Aging reports, invoices and SOAs.
• Coordinate collection schedules and follow-up procedures.
• Flag overdue accounts to management and recommend actions.
• Assess customer credit terms and suggest holds when needed.
• Check weekly AR report before submission to executives.
• Maintain an updated Accounts Payable schedule.
• Verify supporting documents before payment processing.
• Monitor payment due dates and supplier obligations.
• Review cash advances, reimbursements and petty cash.
• Coordinate periodic financial spot/audit checks.
• Ensure all transactions have proper documentation and approval.
• Maintain organized financial filing and retrieval system.
• Monitor and coordinate timely BIR filings and schedules.
• Monitor employer obligations for SSS, PhilHealth and Pag-IBIG.
