Qualifications

• Experience in payroll verification and government compliance processes.
• Proficiency in bank reconciliation and audit preparation.
• Ability to train, mentor, and oversee accounting staff.
• Capable of conducting branch visits and documenting findings.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate and updated financial records, books, ledgers, and supporting documents
• Record financial transactions including receipts, disbursements, and journal entries
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports
• Check, supervise, and consolidate Monthly Sales Reports of all branches
• Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, risks, and opportunities
• Assist in preparing branch and company-wide budgets and track and monitor expenses to ensure adherence to approved budgets
• Track collections and follow up on outstanding receivables
• Process supplier payments, reimbursements, and liquidations
• Check, verify, and monitor payroll computations for all branches
• Ensure timely filing of BIR reports and other mandatory government requirements
• Monitor bank deposits and online banking transactions and perform monthly bank reconciliations
• Train, mentor, and oversee Accounting Officers on company accounting processes, documentation standards, compliance procedures, and financial workflows
• Conduct three (3) days assigned for branch visits per week to review financial records, verify sales reports, address accounting-related concerns, and ensure timely resolution of discrepancies
