Job Description: Change Manager (Individual Contributor)
Position Overview
The Change Manager is accountable for driving successful adoption of finance transformation
initiatives by delivering structured change impact assessments, targeted communications, and
adoption strategies. The role ensures that impacts to people, process, technology, controls, and
service delivery are clearly assessed, communicated, and effectively embedded into Finance
Services operations.
This is a hands-on execution role, partnering with Finance Operations, Process Governance, IT,
Automation, and Business Stakeholders to translate change impacts into actionable plans that
enable readiness, minimize disruption, and sustain benefits.
Duties and Responsibilities
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
5-7 years of experience in change management and communications, project management
Demonstrated hands-on experience delivering change impact assessments for:
o Finance transformation
o ERP or finance system implementations
o Process optimization or operating model changes
Preferably with experience in Finance Services, Finance Shared Services, Banking, or
Professional Services environments
Experience working in global, matrix organizations
Skills & Competencies
Strong understanding of finance processes (P2P, O2C, R2R, FP&A)
Ability to translate CIA outputs into practical action plans
Adaptability to work through an ambiguous and dynamic environment
Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Highly structured, analytical, and detail-oriented
Comfortable operating independently with minimal supervision
Success Measures
Change impacts identified early and mitigated effectively
High adoption and sustained use of new processes and systems
Reduced post-go-live issues and escalations
Positive feedback from Finance leaders and stakeholders
Consistent use of CIA framework across Finance Services
Working conditions
Standard 40-hour work week; flexibility required for project schedules.
May require occasional evening, weekend, or holiday work during system releases or critical
support windows.
Hybrid or onsite schedule depending on company policy.
