IT Finance Project Manager

Job summary

SM Development Corporation is seeking an experienced Finance IT professional to lead end-to-end IT Finance projects, ensure timely delivery, and align scope with stakeholders. You will collaborate with global Finance and IT teams to translate business requirements into integrated ERP solutions across SAP S/4HANA, Oracle Netsuite, and Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations.

The role oversees system architecture, configuration, and enhancements, supports change management and user training,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• CPA is an advantage.
• 5-8+ years of experience in Finance or with Finance applications.
• Experience in multiple areas of core finance (e.g. Manufacturing finance, FA, FP&A, AP, AR, Treasury etc).
• Experience managing, implementing and integrating finance applications (i.e. SAP S/4HANA, Oracle Netsuite, Microsoft Dynamics 365 (Finance & Operations)).
• Strong English communication skills (verbal and written).
• Strong awareness with full-life cycle (SDLC) development and formal change management methodologies.
• Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment, effectively interacting with others.
• Methodologies & Management: Project Portfolio Management, Risk Management, Change Management, Agile Methodologies, Scope Management, Stakeholder Management.
• Business Analysis: Business Process Re-engineering (BPR), Requirements Gathering, Fit-Gap Analysis, User Acceptance Testing (UAT) Coordination, Process Mapping.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage end to end IT Finance projects.

• Bridge between business and technical teams, translating financial processes into functional designs.
• Support change management, user training, and post-implementation reviews.
• Assist, participate, identify and/or perform configuration activities within the ERP Finance module including Product costing, General Ledger, Cost Center Accounting, and Asset Accounting.
• Serve as mentor and internal consultant on Finance to junior team members and partnering with key business finance members to evolve IT Finance operations.
• Respond to production application and systems problems and drive remediation efforts.

Job description

• Oversee system architecture, configuration, and enhancements across ERP related platforms, with a focus on Finance and Corporate Strategy modules

• Act as a bridge between business and technical teams, translating financial processes into functional system designs

• Support change management, user training, and post implementation reviews to ensure adoption and continuous improvement

• Assist, participate, identify and/or perform configuration activities within the ERP Finance module including Product costing, General Ledger, Cost Center Accounting, and Asset Accounting

• Serve as mentor and internal consultant on aspects related to Finance to both junior team members as well as partnering with key business finance team members to continue to evolve operations related to IT Finance.
