Job summary

Our Clients is seeking a Finance Automation Specialist to partner with Finance, IT, and stakeholders to identify and implement automation opportunities. You will develop, configure, test, deploy, and maintain automated solutions to streamline Finance operations.

You will ensure data integrity and controls, deliver user training, and produce documentation while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver system enhancements and coach junior members.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Finance, Accounting, IT, CS, Business Admin, or related field.
• Experience in finance operations, financial reporting, data analytics, process optimization, or automation development.
• Strong Excel skills including VBA; familiarity with Alteryx and Power Automate.

Responsibilities

• Identify process inefficiencies and automation opportunities with Finance, IT, and stakeholders.
• Develop, configure, test, deploy, and maintain automated solutions to streamline Finance operations.
• Maintain data quality, confidentiality, and internal controls for financial data.
• Deliver user training, prepare process documentation, and provide ongoing technical assistance for tool adoption and automation performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver system enhancements and manage projects, coaching juniors and aligning stakeholder expectations.
