Job summary

Asticom Technology Inc invites a Finance Associate to join its Sta Rosa, Laguna finance team. You will support financial accounting and reporting activities, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.

You will handle posting transactions, reconcile accounts, process invoices, assist with month-end close, and maintain orderly financial records while upholding confidentiality and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce or related field, or equivalent professional qualification.
• Knowledge of financial accounting principles, GAAP and financial reporting standards.
• Proficiency in accounting software and financial systems with data entry and record-keeping.
• Strong Excel skills and proficiency with office applications.
• Excellent organisational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks with tight deadlines.
• Attention to detail and strong numerical accuracy.
• Ability to work collaboratively with senior accounting staff and maintain confidentiality.
• Prior experience in financial accounting, bookkeeping or similar role would be advantageous.
• Knowledge of taxation principles and payroll processes would be beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Recording and posting financial transactions to the general ledger with accuracy.
• Reconciling bank statements, accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Preparing and processing invoices and expense reports in a timely manner.
• Assisting with monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements and reports.
• Supporting month-end and year-end close processes, including accruals and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Maintaining organised financial records in compliance with company policies.
• Assisting with audit requests and providing documentation to external auditors.
• Performing data entry tasks and updating financial systems with precision.
• Supporting ad-hoc reporting and analysis; ensuring compliance with accounting principles.
