Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related field.
• At least two years of relevant work experience in Finance and Accounting.
• Experience in a multi-cultural, school setting is a plus.
• Demonstrates integrity in handling cash and maintains principles under pressure.
• Strong attention to detail and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (GP, QuickBooks, SAP).
• Organised, systematic, efficient and diligent.

Responsibilities

• Process payments, invoices, bank transfers, and credit card transactions in line with School policies.
• Maintain accurate accounting records and supporting documentation.
• Assist with accounts payable, reconciliations, and month-end closing activities.
• Monitor and update budget records for allocated departments and cost centres.
• Prepare financial reports, schedules, and audit requirements.
• Support preparation and processing of tax and statutory requirements.
• Respond to finance-related queries from staff, suppliers and stakeholders.
• Provide general administrative and operational support to the Finance Department.
• Handle ad-hoc financial tasks and projects as assigned.
• Maintain accurate, complete, and well-organised financial records and documentation.
