Job summary

San Miguel Global Power is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to ensure accurate processing of payments, manage vendor relations, and support cash flow within the power sector.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, or Business Administration with at least two years of relevant experience; strong English communication, attention to detail, and proficiency in MS Office and SAP/ERP systems are required; willingness to be based in Masinloc, Zambales.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, or related business course.
• 2 years of experience in accounting or AP is preferred.
• Familiar with AP processes, PRMs, advances, reimbursement and liquidation reports.
• Knowledge of VAT/WHT and ERP systems like SAP.
• Proficient in MS Office and able to communicate in English.

Job description

Responsible for handling financial transactions, ensuring timely and accurate processing of payments. This role plays a crucial part in maintaining cash flow, managing vendor and supplier payments, and supporting financial operations within the power industry.

• Must have Bachelors degree in Accountancy, Finance, Business Administration, or any related business course.
• Preferably with two (2) years of relevant experience in fixed asset accounting, inventory accounting, general accounting, accounts payable, or financial analysis.
• Knowledgeable in accounts payable processes, including the review of Payment Request Memos (PRMs), cash advances, reimbursements, and liquidation reports
• Familiar with the application of withholding taxes and value-added tax (VAT)
• Preferably with experience in SAP or other Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Demonstrate strong attention to detail, accuracy, integrity, confidentiality, and commitment to quality in financial work
• Possesses good interpersonal and communication skills and can coordinate effectively with various departments and stakeholders
• Highly organized, proactive, flexible, and bale to manage multiple tasks with a strong sense of urgency
• Has good command of written and spoken English
• Willing to be assigned in Masinloc, Zambales
