Job Summary
Our respected client is looking for a Finance and Administration Manager who will lead the financial management of the business across the Philippines, ensuring strong financial governance, compliance, and sustainable business growth. The role is responsible for overseeing financial planning, budgeting, reporting, cash flow management, and financial controls while providing strategic financial insights to support business decisions and long-term growth. Working closely with the Country Manager and departmental leaders, the Finance and Administration Manager will monitor financial performance, identify opportunities to improve profitability, manage financial risks, and ensure compliance with Philippine financial regulations and accounting standards. This role requires a commercially minded finance leader with strong analytical, leadership, and stakeholder management capabilities.
Key Job Responsibilities
Financial Planning & Reporting
- Lead the preparation of accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports in accordance with statutory and company requirements.
- Prepare management accounts and financial performance reports for senior leadership.
- Analyze financial performance, identify trends and variances, and recommend improvements.
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to support strategic business decisions.
Budgeting & Forecasting
- Lead the annual budgeting process in collaboration with department heads.
- Develop and maintain rolling forecasts to support business planning.
- Monitor departmental spending against approved budgets and recommend corrective actions.
- Support long‑term financial planning and capital investment initiatives.
Cash Flow & Financial Control
- Monitor daily cash flow and working capital to ensure financial stability.
- Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and treasury functions.
- Maintain robust financial controls and ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial records.
- Identify opportunities to improve cash flow, reduce costs, and enhance operational efficiency.
Risk Management & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with Philippine accounting standards, taxation laws, and statutory reporting requirements.
- Maintain effective internal controls, financial policies, and governance processes.
- Identify and mitigate financial risks through sound planning and risk management.
- Coordinate internal and external audits and oversee the implementation of audit recommendations.
Strategic Financial Management
- Evaluate the financial impact of new business opportunities, investments, and operational initiatives.
- Develop financial models and scenario analyses to support strategic planning.
- Identify cost‑saving opportunities and initiatives to improve profitability.
- Provide financial guidance to support sustainable business growth.
Stakeholder & Team Management
- Collaborate closely with HR, Sales, Operations, and Procurement teams to support business objectives.
- Support payroll processes and oversee financial reconciliations.
- Manage relationships with banks, auditors, insurance providers, government agencies, and external financial partners.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team to drive high performance and continuous professional growth.
Key Job Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- CPA or CMA qualification is preferred; MBA or Master's Degree is an advantage.
- Strong knowledge of Philippine accounting standards, taxation, and financial regulations.
- Excellent financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis skills.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including PivotTables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, advanced formulas, and financial modeling.
- Experience using ERP systems and cloud‑based accounting software.
- Strong commercial acumen with excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to translate financial information into business insights.

Experience
- Minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience in finance, accounting, or financial management.
- At least 2 years of leadership or supervisory experience.
- Proven experience in budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and cash flow management.
- Experience managing audits, taxation, statutory compliance, and internal controls.
- Demonstrated ability to develop financial strategies that improve business performance.
- Experience collaborating across multiple business functions to support operational decision‑making.
