Job summary

Kenvue Inc. is seeking a Finance Analyst based in the Asia Pacific region, Philippines (Taguig, BGC). The role focuses on month-end closings, balance sheet reconciliations, and OpEx/PL analysis within a dynamic global finance team.

Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will collaborate with local partners, support audits, and contribute to process improvements while upholding high standards of integrity and accuracy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accountancy.
• CPA certification required.
• At least 2 years accounting experience in manufacturing, audit, or financial shared services.
• Strong teamwork and relationship-building skills.
• Autonomy with prioritization and project management.
• Excellent English communication.

Responsibilities

• Perform month-end closing tasks and review results from third-party providers.
• Prepare financial analyses such as Purchase Price Variance, Gross Profit, and inventory analyses.
• Reconcile Balance Sheet Inventory accounts and related prepaid and accruals.
• Support Ops P&L preparation during BP and budget updates.
• Assist in external and internal audits preparations.
• Liaise with business partners to resolve inventory issues.
• Resolve ad hoc queries from business partners.
• Prepare information related to inventory purchases for hedging as required by treasury.
• Participate in process improvement projects.

Job Description

The Finance Analyst – APSC position will primarily be responsible for month-end closing tasks, preparation and analysis of Balance Sheet reconciliations and analysis of Operation P&L results, and participation in business planning process of the assigned country or manufacturing site in the Asia Pacific region. This role reports to the Associate Finance Manager and will be based in BGC, Taguig, Philippines.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform month-end closing tasks as well as review results of jobs executed by a third-party provider.
• Prepare financial analysis such as Purchase Price Variance analysis, Gross Profit Analysis, Slow Moving and Obsolete Analysis, Gross Inventory in Transit Analysis, etc.
• Perform Full Absorption Adjustment (FAA)
• Reconcile all Balance Sheet Inventory related accounts and some prepaid and accrual clearing accounts.
• Support local finance in preparation of Ops PL during BP and on budget updates.
• Assist in the preparation of requirements for external & internal audits.
• Liaise with business partners to resolve/ follow up any issues related to inventory.
• Resolve queries raised by business partners on an ad hoc basis.
• Prepare information related to inventory purchases for hedging purposes as required by regional treasury team.
• Participates in all process improvement projects.

What we are looking for

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accountancy
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
• At least 2 years accounting experience in a manufacturing (food or non-food), audit or financial shared services firm preferred
• Strong team working and relationship building skills
• Exhibit a high level of autonomy as demonstrated via independent decision-making, prioritizing own workload and project management skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for daily operations and interfacing with internal and external customers
• Ability to read, understand, verbally exchange information and compose written material for business purposes in English
• Experience in using ERP systems required; SAP applications preferred
• Proficiency in basic MS Office applications (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word) also required
