Ideal candidates have a Bachelor’s in Accountancy/Finance, CPA preferred, 10+ years of related experience including 5 in management, and proficiency in MS Office and QuickBooks. MBA not required but welcomed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Finance, or related field; CPA preferred.
• Minimum 10 years of Finance & Accounting experience, including 5 years in a managerial role.
• Experience in the Freight Forwarding industry is an advantage.
• Proficient in MS Office and QuickBooks.

Responsibilities

• Oversees the Finance & Accounting Department, reporting directly to the VP and General Manager and President.
• Manage finance and accounting operations, policies, and procedures.
• Supervise staff performance and ensure timely, accurate outputs.
• Monitor budgets, cash flow, payroll, financial reports, and company funds.
• Coordinate audits and implement process improvements.
• Ensure compliance with tax, regulatory, and government reporting requirements.
• Collaborate with other departments and represent the company in external financial matters.
• Perform other duties assigned by management.
