Job summary

RCBC is seeking a skilled IT professional to design, develop, maintain, and enhance application systems and their documentation. You will gather user requirements, translate them into technical specifications, and ensure AML compliance within the MLPP framework.

The role involves coding, testing, and implementing plans, documenting systems, and providing training and user support. Finacle experience and cloud-based platforms are a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT/CS or related field required.
• At least 4 years of experience in .NET or Java for development and support in Core Banking Systems.
• Experience with Finacle is an advantage.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and cloud-based platforms preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, maintain and enhance application systems and related documentation manuals.
• Gather user requirements for systems analysis and design.
• Translate business requirements into technical specifications and AML-compliant designs.
• Develop file structures, interfaces, programs, reports, backup, recovery and archiving procedures.
• Code and compile programs following SDLC, information security and audit standards.
• Prepare test data and perform tests to ensure correctness.

• Document and maintain system manuals and provide user support.
• Conduct training for trainers and users of the application system.
• Recommend improvements to existing procedures to maximize effectiveness.

Job Summary

This position is responsible for the design, development, maintenance and enhancement of application systems and their related system documentation manuals.

How will you contribute?

• Gathers information on user requirements which will be used for systems analysis and design
• Designs application modules/system based on user requirements and specifications by translating business requirements into technical specifications incorporating AML processes as stipulated in the MLPP compliance laws and regulations
• Develops file structures, interfaces, programs and reports specifications, file backup, recovery and archiving procedures
• Codes and compiles new and revised programs following the set standards and procedures specified by the systems development life cycle methodology, information security and audit
• Prepares test data and performs various tests to ensure error-free coding.
• Prepares test, conversion and implementation plans for approval of the immediate supervisor
• Develops and maintains systems documentation / manuals of the application systems
• Supervises file conversion
• Provides support and technical assistance to users of the application
• Conducts initial training to trainors / users of application system
• Recommends improvements to existing procedures in order to maximize effectiveness and efficiency when using the application system
