RCBC is seeking a skilled Java Developer to design, develop, maintain, and enhance banking application systems and their documentation. The role involves translating business requirements into technical specifications, AML compliance, and supporting users and trainers.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related IT field.
• 4+ years of experience with Java.
• Experience with Agile methodologies.
• Experience with cloud-based platforms.

Responsabilidades

• Gathers information on user requirements for systems analysis and design.
• Designs application modules based on user requirements and AML processes per MLPP compliance laws.
• Develops file structures, interfaces, programs, reports specifications, backups, recovery, and archiving procedures.
• Codes and compiles new and revised programs following SDLC standards, information security and audit.
• Prepares test data and performs tests to ensure error-free coding.
• Prepares test, conversion and implementation plans for supervisor approval.
• Develops and maintains system documentation/manuals of the applications.
• Supervises file conversion.
• Provides support and technical assistance to users of the application.
• Conducts initial training to trainors/users of the application system.
• Recommends improvements to existing procedures to maximize effectiveness and efficiency.

• This position is responsible for the design, development, maintenance and enhancement of application systems and their related system documentation manuals.

Job Summary

• This position is responsible for the design, development, maintenance and enhancement of application systems and their related system documentation manuals.

How will you contribute?

• Gathers information on user requirements which will be used for systems analysis and design
• Designs application modules/system based on user requirements and specifications by translating business requirements into technical specifications incorporating AML processes as stipulated in the MLPP compliance laws and regulations
• Develops file structures, interfaces, programs and reports specifications, file backup, recovery and archiving procedures
• Codes and compiles new and revised programs following the set standards and procedures specified by the systems development life cycle methodology, information security and audit
• Prepares test data and performs various tests to ensure error-free coding.
• Prepares test, conversion and implementation plans for approval of the immediate supervisor
• Develops and maintains systems documentation / manuals of the application systems
• Supervises file conversion
