Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT development, preferably in enterprise-level Java or full stack projects involving modern frameworks, databases, and deployment practices.
• Experience working in Financial Institution is a plus (specifically Banking Industry)
• Knowledge with Waterfall delivery methods; Agile is a plus.
• with .NET Frameworks is a plus.
• Basic shell scripting.
• Hands-on experience with modern frameworks: Backend: Java Spring Framework and/or Spring Boot; Full Stack development experience is a strong advantage.
• Experiences with relational databases: PostgreSQL and MS SQL Server.
• RESTful API design, JSON, and microservice architecture principles.
• Reporting tools such as JasperReports; XML for data formatting/configuration.
• Familiarity with Spring Batch, partitioning and multi-threaded processing is a plus.
• Containerization: Docker, Kubernetes; OpenShift a plus.
• Web application development and deployment, including build automation, environment setup, and release processes.

Responsibilities

• Translate logical designs into component-level implementations considering solution architecture and performance requirements.
• Develop and review system and user interfaces, including validation logic, error handling, access control, audit mechanisms, and recovery routines.
• Conduct peer code reviews and enforce quality standards; ensure maintainability.
• Provide Level 3 support and participate in production standby post go-live, monitoring, issue resolution, and root-cause analysis.
• Understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions; interpret framework-level and architectural designs.
• Contribute to technical analysis of system specifications, including functional flows and data loads.
• Collaborate with data analysts and architects to design/update system and data models.
• Provide guidance and support to team members on design, development, testing, and documentation.
• Identify opportunities to improve development efficiency and tooling, automation, and knowledge sharing.
