Job summary

Arconic Inc. is seeking an Instrument Man / Survey Aide to assist senior survey personnel in land and construction surveys for townhouse, subdivision, and residential development projects.

The role involves proper operation and maintenance of surveying instruments, establishing construction lines, elevations, benchmarks, and other survey requirements essential for accurate project implementation.

Qualifications

• At least 2–3 years of surveying experience in Instrument Man or Survey Assistant.
• Experience in townhouse/subdivision or residential development preferred.
• Ability to read survey plans and understand construction drawings.
• Basic knowledge of AutoCAD or survey data processing is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist in land, topographic, boundary, construction, and as-built surveys.
• Establish boundaries, lot corners, road alignments, elevations, and benchmarks.
• Operate and troubleshoot surveying instruments.
• Record field data accurately and maintain records.
• Support survey layout for townhouse units and roads.
• Follow safety policies and report discrepancies.
