Job summary

VeritasPay Philippines is seeking a Field Engineer to join the Device Management Team in Merchant Services - Operations. You will install, configure, troubleshoot, maintain, and support POS devices across the merchant network, with emphasis on device performance and customer service.

The role requires travel, weekend/holiday shifts when needed, and strong English communication. You will report to the Merchant Services department and work in a fast-paced fintech environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Electronics, IT, CS or related technical course.
• 2–3 years of Field Service, Technical Support, POS devices, FinTech, telecom, or related operations.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, reprogram, and troubleshoot POS devices on-site.
• Diagnose hardware/software issues to ensure optimal device performance.
• Perform pull-outs, replacements, upgrades, and preventive maintenance of devices.
• Conduct regular inspections and audits for proper usage and compliance.
• Provide service by identifying issues and recommending solutions.
• Train merchants on device usage and capabilities.
• Capture merchant feedback and coordinate with teams to improve products.
• Prepare engineer activity reports after every service engagement.
• Help meet SLAs through planned daily field activities.
