Job summary

Upgrade Energy Philippines (UGEP) seeks a field-based O&M Engineer to support solar project operations at Amanpulo, Palawan. You will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot faults, and ensure safety compliance while coordinating with the operations team and project managers.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering with 2–3 years in solar, familiarity with Huawei equipment, SCADA, and AutoCAD. Willingness to work on-site in Palawan is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• 2–3 years of related solar industry experience preferred.
• Familiarity with Huawei equipment and PV systems.
• Proficient in SCADA and monitoring tools.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Willing to be assigned to Amanpulo, Palawan.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and service tasks on solar assets.
• Troubleshoot on-site issues and perform corrective actions.
• Conduct site inspections and safety audits.
• Document field activities and update CMMS with readings and parts used.
• Coordinate with operations and project teams for on-site needs.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and ERc guidelines.
