Job summary

Hummingcomm Corporation in the Philippines is seeking an Electrical/Telecommunications Engineer to lead field deployments for telecom power installations. The role involves guiding subcontractors on-site and remotely, coordinating with customers and project teams, and ensuring quality through pre-acceptance checks and tests.

The ideal candidate has a degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering, knowledge of telecom power systems (AC/DC), experience with rectifiers, and willingness to travel

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
• Knowledge of telecommunication power systems, including AC and DC power systems.
• Experience in the installation, commissioning, integration, and troubleshooting of telecom power equipment.
• Experience with rectifier systems; familiarity with ZTE Rectifier Systems is an advantage.
• Willing to travel extensively and be assigned to any region or province as required by the project.
• Ability to work independently on field deployments and coordinate with customers, subcontractors, and project teams.

Responsibilities

• Guide and train subcontractors for Power Installation on-site and remotely
• Continuous communication to subcontractor installation team and report lacking or missing materials
• Report any incident to TL specially regarding materials transport to site etc.
• Inspection of subcon quality installation for Pre-acceptance
• Do acceptance test with customer
