Job summary

DVI Solutions is seeking a proactive Field Service Engineer in the Philippines to install, test, and maintain AV and workplace technology at client sites. You will troubleshoot hardware and software, provide on-site support, and ensure systems operate reliably while delivering excellent customer service.

The role requires hands-on AV/IT experience, strong communication, and the ability to travel across the Philippines.

Qualifications

• AV or IT experience: Minimum 1 year hands-on experience in AV, IT support, field service engineering, or a related technical role.
• On-site technical support: Demonstrated experience providing on-site technical support at client locations.
• Documentation & communication: Strong verbal and written communication, able to prepare clear technical reports and document service activities.
• Experience with AV systems, video conferencing, networking, or workplace collaboration technologies.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills; able to troubleshoot issues independently.
• Customer-oriented, responsible, and professional.
• Ability to work independently at client sites while collaborating with internal teams.
• Good organizational and time management skills; handle multiple service requests.
• Willingness and ability to travel to client sites across the Philippines as required.

Responsibilities

• Perform on-site installation, configuration, testing, and commissioning of AV and workplace technology systems, including projectors, video conferencing equipment, displays, audio processors, and control systems.
• Ensure equipment and systems are installed and configured according to specifications and customer requirements.
• Conduct system functionality checks and testing prior to handover to clients.
• Work with project teams to ensure smooth implementation and delivery of solutions.
• Conduct scheduled preventive maintenance to ensure reliability and performance of AV and IT equipment.
• Diagnose faults, repair equipment, and replace defective components when required.
• Identify potential issues and recommend solutions to minimise downtime.
• Provide on-site technical support, troubleshooting hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
• Diagnose and resolve issues involving AV systems, video conferencing platforms, networking, and related technologies.
• Respond promptly to service requests and incidents to minimise disruptions.
• Escalate complex issues to internal teams or vendors when necessary.
• Provide technical guidance and basic training to clients on operation and maintenance.
• Maintain positive client relationships with professional, responsive service.
• Collaborate with sales and project teams to understand customer requirements and propose suitable solutions.
• Prepare and maintain service reports, maintenance records, troubleshooting logs, and technical documentation.
• Document issues, corrective actions, and recommendations for future reference.
• Record client feedback and communicate recurring issues to relevant teams.
• Ensure all service activities are documented and completed per procedures.
• Stay updated on emerging AV technologies and workplace collaboration solutions.
• Participate in training and knowledge sessions to improve troubleshooting and service capabilities.
• Identify opportunities to improve service efficiency, system reliability, and customer satisfaction.
