Responsibilities

• Collaborate with senior staff to prepare budgets and financial reports.
• Plan material procurement and vendor planning.
• Raise requisitions for materials by calculating quantities as per lead times.
• Ensure seeds, plants, manure, and other supplies are regularly restocked.
• Coordinate with Estate Admin to update stock received and consumed.
• Direct lorries to designated storage areas in coordination with Estate Admin.
• Maintain records of materials ordered and used, and document acceptances/rejections.
• Field execution: micro-scheduling per technical drawings and farm layouts.
• Oversee field operations including planting and upkeep; supervise quality workmanship.
• Prepare daily, weekly and monthly cultivation reports and monitor productivity.
• Implement soil conservation and sustainability practices.
• Monitor fields, orchards, and production areas to forecast crop maturity and harvest.
• Ensure harvest is despatched per plan and quality checked.
• Schedule repairs and maintenance of equipment and machinery.
• Ensure health and safety regulations are followed; lead safety meetings.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

Field Execution

Micro-scheduling of work as per technical drawingsand farm layouts.

Execution of all field operations including planting and upkeep

• Supervise quality workmanship and avoid rework.

Daily, Weekly and Monthly reports on Cultivation, man daysutilisation and general developments

Implement soil conservation and sustainability practices

Monitor fields, Monitor orchards, fields and production areas toforecast when crops will be fully grown.

Execute the harvesting as per the harvesting plan and Ensure theharvest is quality checked

Ensure the harvest is despatched as per the plan

Estimate how much damage the weather may cause to crops.

• Maintain progress charts and dates recordforall activities.
• Schedule repairs, maintenance, and replacement of equipmentand machinery

Field Safety

• Understand HIRA (Hazard Identification and RiskAssessment) for each activity and make sure that safety is implemented atall stages of work.
• Arrange safety meetings regularly on the field.
• Ensure compliance with safety manual and safetyaction plan specific to the project.

Ensure all staff adheres to health and safety regulations.

Team Management

Identify the teammembers and external agencies required to execute the plan of the company

Participate inselection interviews to select the right candidates for the team

Orient and trainnew joiners in the HSSE department

Monitoractivities of the team to ensure all SOPs are implemented correctly and work isexecuted as per schedule

Train and counselteam members to ensure they perform efficiently

Evaluate teamperformance

Maintain apositive environment in the team and ensure that all team members bond well asa team

Motivate teammembers and encourage them to learn new things
