Job summary

PeopleStrong is seeking an ESG Manager to drive environmental, social and governance initiatives across construction projects and corporate functions. You will coordinate with EHS, Projects, Design, Procurement, HR, Finance, Legal, and Operations to embed sustainable practices throughout the project lifecycle.

  • Proven experience in ESG/EHS-related roles within construction, real estate, infrastructure, or similar.
  • Strong data handling, KPI tracking, and reporting capabilities.
  • Familiarity with ESG frameworks and regulatory reporting requirements.

Job Description

The ESG Manager will be responsible for driving Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) strategy, implementation, monitoring, and reporting across construction projects and corporate functions. The role will ensure alignment with ESG objectives, regulatory requirements, sustainability commitments, stakeholder expectations, and global best practices. The role involves coordinating with EHS, Projects, Design, Procurement, HR, Finance, Legal, and Operations teams to embed sustainability and responsible business practices throughout the project lifecycle.

  • Support development and execution of ESG roadmap aligned with organizational goals.
  • Drive implementation of ESG initiatives across construction projects and corporate functions.
  • Establish ESG objectives, targets, KPIs, and monitoring mechanisms.
  • Identify ESG risks and opportunities and develop improvement plans.
  • Promote sustainability culture across employees, contractors, and stakeholders.
  • Lead ESG data collection, validation, and reporting processes.
  • Support preparation of:
    • BRSR (Business Responsibility & Sustainability Report)
    • Sustainability Report
    • ESG disclosures
    • Stakeholder communication
  • Coordinate with internal teams for accurate ESG performance data.
  • Support initiatives related to:
    • Worker welfare
    • Occupational health and safety
    • Employee wellbeing
    • Diversity & inclusion
    • Skill development
    • Community engagement
  • Monitor social performance indicators.
  • Strengthen responsible contractor and supply chain practices.

Education:

  • Bachelor's / Master's degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Engineering, EHS, or related field.

Experience:

  • 8-12 years of experience in ESG / Sustainability / EHS in construction, real estate, infrastructure, or related industries.
  • Experience in BRSR, ESG reporting, sustainability frameworks, and environmental management.
