Job summary

Technology Pryme Integrated Solutions, Inc. in Makati City is seeking a Field Engineer to respond to and manage IT support tickets, provide on-site and remote assistance, and troubleshoot POS systems and related equipment.

You will work with Level 4 Support and SaaS Operations, perform RCA documentation, and ensure quality support processes while coordinating field assignments and travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT/CS or related field or equivalent work experience.
• At least 2 years in customer service/technical support or POS experience.
• At least 1 year hands-on POS installation, support, and troubleshooting.
• Strong knowledge of PC hardware/software installation, configuration, diagnosis, and troubleshooting.
• Proficient in Windows, Office, and desktop applications.
• Knowledge of LAN/WAN networking and diagnostic tools.
• Experience with on-site installation, maintenance, and repair of IT equipment.
• Ability to perform remote troubleshooting and provide step-by-step guidance.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in field environments.
• Good communication, documentation, and reporting skills.
• Willing to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Respond to and manage technical support tickets per SLAs.
• Handle high-priority and critical issues promptly.
• Provide on-site and remote technical support to clients.
• Troubleshoot and maintain POS systems, computers, servers, printers, scanners, and other IT equipment.
• Coordinate and escalate critical issues with Level 4 Support and SaaS Operations.
• Assist in Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and prepare required documentation.
• Monitor and test support processes to ensure effectiveness.
• Maintain quality standards for technical support services.
• Manage error queues and escape issues beyond Level 3 support.
• Provide clear technical guidance and support to end-users.
• Perform system testing, preventive maintenance, installation, and repair.
