Job summary

MERALCO is seeking a Field Representative to drive revenue growth and strengthen customer relationships. You will execute Field Orders, evaluate service applications, and deliver Total Energy Solutions across energy and non-energy products.

Qualifications

• Graduate of any Engineering Course or 3-year Vocational Course (Industrial Technology, Electrical Technology or Electronics Technology).
• Preferably a Registered Master Electrician.
• Preferably with a Non-Professional Drivers’ License.

Responsibilities

• Identify customer/segment’s needs, issues, and challenges related to power and energy in various customer touchpoints.
• Gathers information during field work on customer needs and requirements in support of the technical requirements needed to facilitate service applications and other business opportunities.
• Provide Total Energy Solutions to customers which include both energy and non-energy products and services to ensure continuous engagement with Meralco for value-adding services.
• Offers value-adding products, customer solutions and cross-selling/up-selling of Meralco's and its subsidiaries services and products.
• Executes field orders related to feasibility and inspection of service applications such as new connection, separation of meter, reconnection, relocation/remodel, transfer of service, modification of contract data, change in load/service, and termination of contract.
• Assesss availability of distribution facilities.
• Identifies, validates, and receives service application and connection requirements as submitted by the customer in the field.
• Monitors pending service application on the assigned area of execution.
• Investigates service application with Service Irregularity cases and/or regular unpaid billing.
• Provide inputs by identifying problems and areas for improvement in the execution of FO.
• 1. Provide inputs for segment specific customer content.
• a. Observes customer behavior and provides input to Team Leader for segment specific customer content.
• Guarantee regulatory compliance on documentary and procedural requirements related to Elevated Metering Centers (EMC) conversion.
• Participates in information campaigns on identified locations for conversion to EMC.
• Validates submitted documents (i.e. request letter for conversion to EMC and signed by '50% plus 1' of the affected residents).
