About the role

The Field Account Officer is responsible for acquiring and managing loan accounts through field marketing, clients assessment, account monitoring and payment follow-up. The position requires regular fieldwork to meet prospective and exiting borrowers, verify client information, assist in processing loan applications, monitor repayment schedules and follow up on overdue accounts.

Key responsibilities

• Source and develop qualified borrowers within the assigned area
• Conduct regular field visits to client locations to assess loan applications, verify information and evaluate collateral
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients to ensure client satisfaction and retention
• Conduct field verification and basic credit investigation
• Follow up upcoming and overdue payments
• Gather comprehensive financial and personal information from clients to support the loan approval process
• Submit daily field activity and account monitoring reports
• Meet assigned marketing, loan acquisition, account monitoring and collection
• Follow up with clients regarding account status, payment schedules and any outstanding matters
• Maintain accurate records of all client interactions, transactions and field visit activities

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's Degree preferred, relevant lending or field experience may be considered
• Proven experience in field account management, client services or similar client-facing roles within the financial services industry
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities to manage multiple client accounts and field schedules effectively
• Sound understanding of lending principles, credit assessment and financial analysis
• Ability to work independently and demonstrate initiative while maintaining accountability for assigned accounts
• Keen attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and reporting
• Willingness to work flexible hours to accommodate client schedules when necessary
• Goal Oriented and willing to work with performance targets
• With its own motorcycle and valid Drivers License
