Job summary

Rise in Cebu City, Philippines is seeking a Project Engineer to bridge the project management and technical teams across design, implementation and network delivery. The role focuses on survey, design collaboration with fiber designers, and driving implementation through the team lead to meet client timelines.

The candidate will drive quality, manage external vendors where needed, and ensure documentation and as-built records are completed post-implementation.

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating projects across design, implementation and network delivery.
• Strong leadership and supervisory capabilities in a telecom environment.
• Proven ability to communicate clearly with stakeholders in English.
• Understanding of physical construction requirements in telecom projects.
• Knowledge of inside plant and outside plant network concepts (GPON or similar).
• Strong documentation practices including as-built plans and design docs.

Responsibilities

• Ensure workflow and logistics of projects are efficient and resources are ready.
• Maintain and manage tools and calibration of fusion splicers.
• Ensure compliance with OHS standards and PPE requirements.
• Identify areas for process improvement and implement solutions.
• Manage team schedules and allocate resources per project needs.
• Supervise day-to-day operations across builds and document progress.
• Create fiber layout/design or produce network design documents.
• Document and maintain as-built documentation and site records.
